The HARVEY TOOL 950808-C6 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance machining of high-temperature alloys, steels, stainless steels, cast iron, and hard materials. It measures 0.125 inches in diameter with a 0.375-inch length of cut and a 1.5-inch overall length. The four-flute, variable helix geometry reduces harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts, while the AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear life in demanding applications. The corner radius measures 0.010 inches, protecting the cutting edge and reducing stress concentrations at the tool tip. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers working in aerospace, medical, and precision manufacturing environments are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is suited for both roughing and finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard alloys in ISO material groups P, M, K, and H. The centercutting design allows for plunge entry, expanding its application in high-precision profiling and pocket milling. The straight cylindrical shank at 0.125 inches diameter is compatible with high-precision toolholders, making it appropriate for tight-tolerance work on CNC machining centers where runout control is critical.
Designed for use with high-precision toolholders in CNC milling applications involving steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard alloys. Recommended for ISO material groups P, M, K, and H as specified by the manufacturer.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool is secured in a high-precision toolholder to minimize runout before cutting. Verify tool projection and reach requirements against the workpiece setup before engaging the spindle. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and cutting tool manufacturer guidelines for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut appropriate to the workpiece material.
