The HARVEY TOOL 948425-C3 is a double-end corner rounding end mill designed to produce smooth, radiused edges on machined workpieces. Built from solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride), it delivers extended tool life and heat resistance in demanding cutting environments. The 1/8-inch radius profile and 5/16-inch mill diameter make it well suited for consistent edge-breaking and decorative radius work on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With two flutes and a 5/16-inch shank diameter, this end mill fits standard collets and tool holders found in most CNC and manual milling setups.
This end mill is used in precision machining applications where a controlled corner radius is required on part edges. Typical applications include aerospace, medical device, mold and die, and general metalworking shops. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends per tool, increasing value per unit in high-volume or repetitive-radius operations. The AlTiN coating makes it suitable for dry or semi-dry cutting in alloy steels, stainless steel, and hardened materials where heat buildup is a concern.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines equipped with a standard collet or end mill holder accepting a 5/16-inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of debris before seating the tool. Secure the shank to the recommended engagement depth for the collet or toolholder in use. Verify runout with a dial indicator before first use to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
