The HARVEY TOOL 946193-C6 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metal-cutting applications. With a 3/32-inch (0.093-inch) cutting diameter and 7 flutes, this single-end tool delivers high material removal rates while maintaining surface finish quality. The AlTiN coating provides heat resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. A 41-degree variable helix angle reduces harmonic vibration and chatter, making it well suited for finishing passes and aggressive slotting at tight diameters. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling professionals.
This end mill is built for small-diameter, tight-tolerance work in CNC machining centers and manual mills. The 9/64-inch (0.140-inch) length of cut suits shallow pocketing, slotting, and profiling operations where rigidity and deflection control are critical. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet systems and small-bore tool holders common in precision shops. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute geometry follow conventional milling standards. The 1-1/2-inch overall length keeps the tool stiff in the spindle, reducing runout risk at high RPM.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with 1/8-inch collet or tool holder systems accepting standard straight-shank end mills.
Installation and tool changes should be performed with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out, de-energized state per standard lockout/tagout procedures. Seat the 1/8-inch shank fully into a clean, undamaged collet or end mill holder before torquing to the tool holder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges and AlTiN coating for chips or wear before each use — do not run a damaged carbide tool. Consult the machine and tooling manufacturer guidelines for appropriate speeds, feeds, and depth of cut for the workpiece material.
