The HARVEY TOOL 944816-C4 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in demanding machining environments. With a 0.25-inch cutter diameter and a 0.75-inch length of cut, this single-end tool delivers consistent performance in tight-tolerance applications. Eight flutes provide a high flute count for improved surface finish and material removal in finish-pass operations. The amorphous diamond coating increases surface hardness and reduces friction, making this end mill well-suited for machining abrasive non-ferrous materials, composites, and graphite. Right-hand cutting direction with a 10-degree helix angle supports chip flow and edge stability during cuts.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where fine surface finish and dimensional accuracy are required. The 0.25-inch shank diameter fits standard ER collets and end mill holders commonly found in production and toolroom environments. With a 2.5-inch overall length, the tool maintains rigidity while providing adequate reach for most shallow-to-mid-depth milling operations. Machinists working with abrasive plastics, carbon fiber reinforced polymers, green ceramics, or high-silicon aluminum alloys will find the amorphous diamond coating particularly effective at extending tool life.
