The HARVEY TOOL 941293 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 3/32-inch (0.0937-inch) cutter diameter and a 1/2-inch length of cut, this tool is built for small-diameter work where accuracy and edge integrity matter. The three-flute, upcut geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation while maintaining surface finish quality. The bright, uncoated finish makes it suitable for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and other materials where coatings are not required. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary users of this tool in production and job shop environments.
This end mill is suited for light finishing passes, slot milling, and contour work in tight geometries. The 3/32-inch diameter makes it appropriate for detailed features, thin walls, and small-part machining on CNC mills and machining centers. The 1/8-inch shank diameter allows it to seat in standard collets and tool holders commonly found in small-part machining setups. Its single-end configuration means the cutting geometry is on one end only, which is standard for replaceable tooling in production environments.
Designed for use with standard 1/8-inch collets and tool holders on CNC machining centers and manual mills. Confirm collet and holder clearance before installation, as small-diameter carbide tools have tight tolerance requirements.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator familiar with tooling setup and runout tolerances. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing the end mill. Seat the shank fully into the collet to the recommended grip depth and verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut. Small-diameter carbide end mills are brittle and should not be used for interrupted cuts or heavy plunge operations beyond the tool's rated capacity.
