The HARVEY TOOL 941175-C3 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. It features a 1/4 inch mill diameter, a 3/8 inch length of cut, and a 1.90 mm (0.0750 inch) corner radius. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral design with a 30-degree helix angle supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. An AlTiN PVD coating extends tool life in abrasive and high-temperature cutting environments. The 2.5 inch overall length and stub-standard form factor make it well suited for close-tolerance work in confined setups. Installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
This end mill fits into the HARVEY TOOL Miniature End Mills series, covering Corner Radius Stub and Standard configurations. It is centercutting and handles plunge entry without a pilot hole. The straight cylindrical 1/4 inch shank seats directly into standard ER collets or milling chucks. Typical applications include profiling corners with controlled radii, slotting, and contouring in ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. It is suited for precision component work in aerospace, medical, and general machining where corner radius consistency is critical.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 1/4 inch straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with ER collets, end mill holders, or milling chucks. Compatible workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composites per manufacturer material application data.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety protocols. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended engagement depth before tightening to the toolholder specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator after setup, as excessive runout will accelerate wear and compromise corner radius tolerance.
