The HARVEY TOOL 937925-C3 is a miniature solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. Built with a 3/16 inch diameter and a 0.025 inch corner radius, this single-end tool produces blended transitions between floor and wall surfaces while reducing stress concentrations at part corners. The 4-flute helical geometry supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. An AlTiN PVD coating adds thermal and wear resistance, extending tool life in abrasive and high-heat cutting environments. Shank diameter matches the mill diameter at 3/16 inch for direct chuck or collet mounting.
This end mill is sized for compact work envelopes and small-feature applications commonly encountered in die and mold work, aerospace component machining, and precision part production. The stub length-of-cut configuration improves rigidity, reducing deflection in tight-tolerance passes. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard vertical and horizontal CNC milling setups. It is suited for shops running steel, stainless steel, cast iron, composite, and non-ferrous workpieces where corner geometry and surface finish are critical.
Designed for use with standard toolholders and collet chucks accepting a 3/16 inch straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for CNC milling applications in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metal, and composite workpieces. Part of the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and machine in an e-stop or locked-out state. Seat the shank fully into the collet or toolholder to the recommended gauge depth before tightening to avoid runout and premature tool breakage. Verify runout with a dial indicator after installation, particularly critical at this small diameter. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling manufacturer feed and speed recommendations for the specific workpiece material before cutting.
