The HARVEY TOOL 937062 is a miniature solid carbide square end mill designed for precision cutting in tight-clearance and long-reach applications. With a 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch) mill diameter and a 3/32 inch (0.093 inch) length of cut, this stub-flute end mill delivers controlled material removal at small scales. The 1/8 inch shank provides a stable grip in standard collets, while the 2-1/2 inch overall length and 3/8 inch reach length make it suitable for deep-pocket and hard-to-access features. Three flutes with a 30-degree right-hand helix support efficient chip evacuation across a range of workpiece materials. Centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry. Installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous alloys, and CFRP composite materials. The long-reach, stub-flute configuration makes it a practical choice when deep cavities, narrow slots, or confined part features require extended tool projection with minimal deflection. The bright uncoated finish is appropriate for general-purpose machining where coating is not required or where re-sharpening is anticipated. Typical applications include slot milling, profiling, and pocket milling at miniature scale.
Designed for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8 inch shank. Compatible workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous alloys, and CFRP materials as specified by the manufacturer.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Secure the 1/8 inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder and verify runout before cutting. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool path is programmed before engaging the workpiece. At this diameter, feed rates and depth of cut must be carefully managed to avoid tool breakage; follow the manufacturer cutting data for the specific workpiece material.
