The HARVEY TOOL 934912-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill from the Miniature End Mills Long Reach, Stub Flute series. Designed for high-precision milling in demanding environments, it features a 3/16 inch cutting diameter, a 9/32 inch length of cut, and a 3 inch overall length. The AlTiN coating delivers elevated heat resistance and hardness, making this tool well suited for ferrous metals and abrasive materials. With three flutes, a 30-degree helix angle, and right-hand cut and flute direction, the 934912-C3 produces clean, efficient chip evacuation. It is a centercutting design with extended reach, allowing access to deep or narrow pockets without sacrificing rigidity. Licensed machinists and CNC operators use this tool in production and precision machining environments.
The 934912-C3 is intended for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, and CFRP materials. Its long reach geometry at 1.3120 inch reach length makes it appropriate for contouring and profiling operations where standard-reach tooling cannot access the feature. It is a single-end tool packaged individually. The stub flute and extended neck combination balances deflection control with reach, making it a practical choice for aerospace, medical, and general precision machining applications where tight tolerances and minimal tool runout are required.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills with standard 3/16 inch collets or tool holders. Rated for primary workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, and CFRP materials per ISO material codes P, M, K, N, and C.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the spindle and machine are fully stopped before loading or changing tooling. Seat the 3/16 inch shank fully and evenly in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder to minimize runout. Verify tool projection and reach clearance in the tool path simulation before cutting to prevent interference with workpiece walls or fixtures.
