The HARVEY TOOL 934910 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 5/32 inch (0.1562 inch) mill diameter and a 15/64 inch (0.2340 inch) length of cut, this three-flute tool delivers clean square shoulders and flat-bottom features. The extended reach design provides a reach length of 1-3/32 inches (1.0930 inches), making it well suited for deep-cavity work where clearance is a priority. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working in job shop, tool room, and production environments.
This end mill is built for right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction, which is standard for the majority of CNC machining centers and manual knee mills. The bright uncoated finish makes it a practical choice for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and general-purpose milling where a coating is not required. Single-end geometry means the tool is replaced rather than indexed when worn. The 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders commonly found in both vertical and horizontal machining setups. Note that this end mill is not centercutting and should not be used for direct plunge cuts.
Designed for use in standard CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual knee mills with collet systems or end mill holders accepting a 3/16 inch shank diameter. Not centercutting — use a drill or centercutting tool to establish the initial hole before side or slot milling with this tool.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Seat the shank to the recommended grip depth in the collet or holder to minimize runout and prevent pullout under load. Do not use this end mill for direct plunge operations, as it is not centercutting.
