The HARVEY TOOL 934910-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal and hard material applications. With a 5/32-inch (0.1562-inch) mill diameter and a 15/64-inch (0.234-inch) length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance profiling, slotting, and contouring in confined areas. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN coating provides heat resistance and extends tool life in ferrous and high-temperature alloy machining. The extended-reach geometry, with a reach length of 1-3/32 inches (1.093 inches), allows access to deeper features without sacrificing rigidity. Installed by machinists and toolroom professionals on CNC mills and machining centers.
This end mill is suited for precision machining of ferrous metals, stainless steels, and high-temperature alloys in both production and toolroom environments. The single-end, right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard CNC vertical and horizontal milling setups. The extended-reach design is particularly useful when clearing walls or machining deep pockets where a standard-reach tool would contact the workpiece shank. The 3-flute configuration balances chip clearance with surface finish quality, making it a practical choice for both roughing and finishing passes at small diameters.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide square end mill for use in standard CNC milling machines and machining centers accepting a 3/16-inch shank diameter collet or toolholder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard toolholding procedures. Ensure the collet or toolholder is clean and properly torqued before use. Verify spindle direction and feed-rate parameters in the CNC program match the right-hand cutting direction of this tool. Note that this end mill is not centercutting and cannot be used for direct plunge operations.
