The HARVEY TOOL 934893 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metal, composites, and engineered materials. With a 3/32-inch (0.093 inch) cutting diameter and a 0.139-inch length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in confined geometries. Three flutes and a 30-degree right-hand helix deliver efficient chip evacuation while maintaining a strong cutting edge. The bright, uncoated finish suits general-purpose applications where coating is not required. This end mill is a single-end, center-cutting tool, meaning it can be used for both peripheral and plunge operations. It is installed and operated by machinists, tool and die makers, and precision fabricators.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines where small-diameter, fine-detail cutting is required. The extended reach design, with a 0.67-inch reach length, allows access to pockets and slots that standard short-reach tools cannot reach. The 1/8-inch shank fits standard ER collets and end mill holders commonly found in light machining setups. Typical applications include slot milling, profiling, and pocket cutting in small-part production environments.
Designed for use with 1/8-inch ER collets and standard end mill holders in CNC and manual milling machines requiring small-diameter square end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with proper tool holding and runout requirements for small-diameter carbide end mills. Ensure the spindle and collet are clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Small-diameter carbide tools are brittle - avoid side-loading beyond the tool manufacturer's recommended depth of cut and do not use worn or damaged holders. Verify spindle speed and feed rate settings are appropriate for the workpiece material before initiating the cut.
