The HARVEY TOOL 932560-C6 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-temperature alloy machining. It features a 0.06-inch mill diameter, a 0.01-inch corner radius, and a variable helix design that reduces harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts. The 3-flute geometry supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness retention at elevated cutting temperatures. The extended-reach, stub-flute configuration gives this mill a long neck geometry suited for tight-pocket and deep-reach applications where standard-length tools cannot access the workpiece.
This end mill is designed for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard alloys including high-temperature materials. Its stub flute length of 0.187 inches with a 0.625-inch reach length makes it well suited for slotting, profiling, and contouring in deep or narrow features. The straight cylindrical shank diameter of 0.125 inches is intended for use with high-precision toolholders. Typical applications include aerospace and medical component machining where tight tolerances and surface integrity in hard materials are required.
Intended for use with high-precision toolholders. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard alloys per material codes P, M, K, and H. Part of the HARVEY TOOL Variable Helix End Mills for High Temp Alloys - Corner Radius - Long Reach, Stub Flute series.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Seat the straight cylindrical shank fully into a high-precision collet or shrink-fit toolholder and verify runout before cutting. Power down the spindle completely before inserting or removing the tool. Do not exceed the tool's rated reach or apply side loads beyond the designed flute length, as the stub flute geometry limits axial depth of cut.
