The HARVEY TOOL 932410-C3 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision finishing in demanding metalworking applications. With a 3/16 inch mill diameter and a 0.01 inch corner radius, it delivers controlled edge geometry that reduces stress concentrations in machined corners. The 1 inch length of cut (LOC) and 3 inch overall length (OAL) put this tool in the long-flute category, suited for deeper axial engagements where standard-length tools fall short. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness, extending tool life when cutting ferrous and high-hardness materials. A 30-degree helical flute geometry and right-hand cutting direction round out the tool profile.
This end mill is intended for finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials. It is a single-end, center-cutting tool with a straight cylindrical 3/16 inch shank, making it compatible with standard precision toolholders used on CNC milling machines and machining centers. Its miniature diameter and long-flute configuration make it well suited for tight-clearance slots, pockets, and contoured walls where a full-size tool cannot reach. Confirm runout at the cutting edge before initiating the first pass. Do not exceed the rated LOC during full-radial-engagement cuts, as extended reach beyond the flute length significantly increases deflection risk.
