The HARVEY TOOL 930893-C8 is a solid carbide square end mill engineered for precision milling in demanding machining environments. With a 3/32 inch (0.093 inch) cutter diameter and a 9/64 inch (0.140 inch) length of cut, this end mill is built for tight-tolerance work in small-feature applications. The TiB2 (Titanium Diboride) coating reduces friction and improves tool life on non-ferrous and abrasive materials. A 42-degree variable helix geometry reduces chatter and improves chip evacuation, making it well suited for high-speed finishing and profiling passes. Installed and operated by CNC machinists and tool and die professionals.
This end mill is designed for applications requiring small-diameter, high-precision cutting in slots, pockets, and contoured profiles. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. The extended reach design, with a 1/2 inch reach length, provides clearance for machining in deep cavities or near workholding fixtures without sacrificing rigidity. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and toolholders commonly found on CNC mills and machining centers. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation follows standard CNC spindle convention.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with 1/8 inch collets or toolholders. Suited for milling non-ferrous metals, plastics, and similar materials where small-diameter carbide tooling is specified.
This end mill is installed by machinists and CNC operators into a compatible 1/8 inch collet or precision toolholder. Confirm collet runout and toolholder cleanliness before seating the shank to avoid premature tool wear or breakage. Set spindle speed and feed rate per the material being cut and the manufacturer cutting data for the specific cutter diameter. Never exceed the rated length of cut or apply side loads beyond the tool geometry specifications.
