The HARVEY TOOL 930631-C6 is a solid carbide ball end mill engineered for material removal in superalloys, titanium, and other high-temperature alloys. It features a 1/32 inch (0.0310 inch) mill diameter, a 5/32 inch length of cut, and a 34-degree variable helix angle that reduces harmonics and chatter during aggressive cuts. The AlTiN Nano PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness retention at elevated cutting temperatures. With three flutes and a right-hand cutting and flute direction, this tool is suited for finishing and roughing passes in difficult-to-machine aerospace and industrial materials. Installation and use require a CNC machining center or compatible toolholder with an 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank bore.
This end mill is designed for machining superalloys and titanium as its primary workpiece materials, with secondary suitability for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard materials. It fits applications in aerospace component machining, medical device manufacturing, and precision die work where tight tolerances and tool life in heat-resistant alloys are critical. The long-length configuration and 5/32 inch reach length allow access in pockets and features where standard-length tools cannot reach. Single-end geometry means the tool is replaced rather than re-indexed when worn.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the shank in a compatible collet or end mill holder to the appropriate clamping torque per the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and de-energized before tool changes. Do not exceed the tool's rated depth of cut or feed rates for the workpiece material being machined, as solid carbide tooling at small diameters is susceptible to breakage under excessive lateral load.
