The HARVEY TOOL 923093 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance machining applications. With a 3/32-inch (0.093 inch) cutting diameter and a 1/2-inch length of cut, this tool handles slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in small-feature work. The 42-degree variable helix geometry reduces chatter and improves chip evacuation compared to fixed-helix designs. Three flutes provide a balance of chip clearance and cutting edge strength. The uncoated bright finish makes it well suited for non-ferrous metals and plastics where coating adhesion could affect surface finish. Machinists and CNC operators working on prototype, die, or precision component work will find this tool appropriate for their needs.
This end mill is used in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where small-diameter tooling is required. The 1/8-inch shank diameter suits standard ER collets and small-bore tool holders common in precision shops. The 2-1/2-inch overall length provides enough reach for most standard setups without sacrificing rigidity. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry directly into the workpiece. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation are standard for conventional CNC spindle rotation.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or tool holder to the recommended gauge-line depth and torque the collet nut per the tool-holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts, as excessive runout on small-diameter carbide tools can cause premature breakage.
