The HARVEY TOOL 917110-C3 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision finishing operations in demanding metalworking applications. With a 0.25 inch mill diameter, a 1.25 inch length of cut, and a 0.01 inch corner radius, this tool produces clean, radiused edges while reducing stress concentrations at part corners. The 4-flute, right-hand helical geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and a smooth surface finish. An AlTiN PVD coating extends tool life in abrasive and high-temperature cutting environments. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops, tool rooms, and production facilities are the primary users of this end mill.
This long-flute end mill is suited for finishing passes on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials. The 1.25 inch length of cut makes it well-suited for pocketing, profiling, and slotting operations where reach into deeper features is required. The single-end, straight-cylindrical shank mounts in standard toolholders compatible with 0.25 inch shank bores. It is part of the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills Corner Radius Long Flute series, intended for applications where a full-radius or sharp-corner end mill is not appropriate.
