The HARVEY TOOL 910533-C6 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding applications. With a 1.5 mm (0.0591 inch) cutting diameter and a 7.5 mm (0.2953 inch) length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in small-feature machining. The three-flute, right-hand cutting and right-hand flute geometry is paired with a variable 34-degree helix angle to improve chip evacuation and reduce chatter. An AlTiN coating increases surface hardness and thermal resistance, extending tool life in ferrous and high-temperature alloy materials. The 4 mm (0.1575 inch) shank diameter and 50 mm overall length make it compatible with standard collet-style toolholding systems.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and vertical mills where small-diameter, high-precision profiling, slotting, and contouring are required. It is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can plunge directly into a workpiece. Typical applications include die and mold work, medical component machining, and aerospace part finishing where fine feature resolution and surface finish are critical. Machinists working in stainless steel, titanium, hardened steels, and similar difficult-to-machine materials will find the AlTiN coating particularly beneficial.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide square end mill suitable for use with standard collet and shrink-fit toolholding systems accepting a 4 mm shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop-standard toolholding procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing any cutting tool. Confirm the collet or chuck is clean and free of debris before seating the shank, and torque the retention system to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before initiating a cut, particularly given the small diameter of this tool.
