The HARVEY TOOL 910210-C6 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-temperature alloy machining applications. It carries a 0.1562 inch mill diameter, a 0.0300 inch corner radius, and a 3.0 inch overall length. The cutting geometry runs a 4-flute, right-hand helical configuration with a variable helix design that reduces harmonic chatter during aggressive cuts. An AlTiN Nano PVD coating delivers elevated heat resistance and surface hardness, extending tool life when cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard alloys. This is a centercutting, single-end tool built for both roughing and finishing passes.
This end mill belongs to the Variable Helix End Mills for High Temp Alloys series in a Long Reach, Stub Flute configuration. It is suited for close-tolerance profiling, slotting, and contouring in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard alloys. The extended reach geometry at 0.7500 inch reach length makes it appropriate for deep-pocket work and hard-to-access features on ferrous and hard-material workpieces. A 0.1875 inch straight-cylindrical shank is sized for use with high-precision toolholders to maintain runout control at speed.
Designed for use with high-precision toolholders. Recommended for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard alloys. Primary workpiece material codes P, M, K, and H per ISO classification.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control placed in an e-stop or tool-change state. Seat the 0.1875 inch straight-cylindrical shank fully into a high-precision toolholder and verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool; external coolant or air blast should be directed at the cutting zone. Confirm depth-of-cut and feed parameters against the manufacturer cutting data for the specific workpiece material before engaging the cut.
