The HARVEY TOOL 888262-C3 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision finishing in tight-tolerance machining applications. With a 0.062-inch mill diameter, a 1/64-inch (0.015-inch) corner radius, and a 4-flute helical geometry, this tool delivers clean, consistent edge profiles on small-scale features. The extra-long flute length of 0.375 inches allows for deeper reach in slotting and profiling passes without tool change interruption. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in ferrous and abrasive materials. This tool is specified by machinists and CNC programmers working on miniature component features where radius consistency and surface finish are non-negotiable.
This end mill fits applications requiring fine finishing on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials. The single-end, right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills. The 1/8-inch straight cylindrical shank seats directly into standard collets and toolholders. It is particularly suited to die and mold work, medical device components, and aerospace detail parts where miniature end mills with long flute reach are required.
Designed for use with standard toolholders and collet chucks accepting a 1/8-inch straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite workpiece materials as specified by the manufacturer.
Install and remove this end mill with the machine spindle fully powered down and locked out per applicable shop safety procedures. Seat the shank fully into the collet or toolholder bore before torquing to the holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout at the tool tip before initiating the first pass, as radial runout beyond tolerance will accelerate wear and degrade the corner radius profile. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool; use flood or mist coolant directed at the cutting zone as the application allows.
