With a 1/4-inch cutter head diameter and four flutes, this single-end tool delivers clean, consistent cuts in a compact profile. The AlTiN coating provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life under demanding cutting conditions. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 1/4-inch shank diameter, it fits standard milling chucks and collets used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and toolroom professionals.
This chamfer mill is suited for light-to-moderate chamfering and countersinking tasks in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. The right-hand cutting direction and 50-degree included angle make it a practical choice for producing consistent chamfers on drilled holes, slots, and part edges. The 0.204-inch length of cut is appropriate for shallow chamfering passes on workpieces processed in general machining, mold and die, and production environments.

This tool is installed by machinists using standard collet or end mill holder tooling matched to the 1/4-inch shank diameter. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of debris before seating the tool. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines for runout tolerance and clamping torque on the tool holder. Always verify spindle direction is set to right-hand rotation before engaging the cut.
