The HARVEY TOOL 875505-C3 is a solid carbide double angle milling cutter designed for precision milling of V-grooves, chamfers, and angled slots in a wide range of workpiece materials. It carries a 90-degree included angle and a 3/8-inch cutting diameter with a 3/16-inch cutting width. An AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extends tool life in ferrous and hard-alloy applications. Overall length is 3.188 inches. The cutter connects via a 3/16-inch straight shank and is installed by machinists and toolroom operators on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
This cutter is suited for metalworking applications requiring symmetric double-angle profiles, including dovetail preparation, deburring chamfers, and form milling on ferrous metals, stainless steels, and high-temperature alloys. The 8-tooth geometry supports moderate feed rates while maintaining surface finish quality. It is commonly used in job shop, production machining, and tool and die environments where consistent angular geometry is required on tight-tolerance components.
Designed for use in standard collet chucks and end mill holders accepting a 3/16-inch shank diameter on CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Secure the shank fully into a collet or tool holder and verify runout before cutting. Ensure the spindle is at a complete stop before tool changes. Follow shop-standard speeds and feeds for carbide tooling in the workpiece material being machined.
