The HARVEY TOOL 875462-C6 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. With a 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch) cutting diameter and 4 flutes arranged in a variable helix configuration, this end mill delivers reduced chatter and improved chip evacuation during high-speed cutting operations. The AlTiN coating provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life when machining hardened steels, stainless alloys, and other difficult-to-cut materials. A 0.186 inch length of cut and 1-1/2 inch overall length make this tool well suited for finishing passes and close-tolerance slot work where rigidity and runout control are critical.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where small-diameter, tight-tolerance work is required. Typical applications include die and mold work, small part profiling, slotting, and finishing operations in hardened ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC setups. Because this tool is not centercutting, avoid direct axial plunge entry into solid material; use ramping or helical entry paths instead.
