The HARVEY TOOL 871124-C3 is a 5-flute solid carbide chamfer mill designed for precision chamfering and deburring operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The tool features an AlTiN coating that improves heat resistance and extends tool life during high-speed cutting. With a 3/8-inch shank diameter and a 2-1/2-inch overall length, it fits standard milling chucks and collet holders used in CNC machining centers. The single-end configuration and right-hand cutting direction make it a straightforward drop-in for typical chamfering programs. Machinists and toolroom operators in production and job-shop environments rely on this geometry for consistent edge preparation and countersinking.
This chamfer mill is suited for chamfering, deburring, and countersinking operations on a wide range of workpiece materials. The AlTiN coating performs well in dry or semi-dry cutting conditions common in steel and alloy machining.
