The HARVEY TOOL 855320 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It carries an 11/64 inch (0.1719 inch) cutting diameter, a 0.50 mm (0.0200 inch) corner radius, and a 4-flute right-hand spiral configuration. The stub-and-standard miniature series geometry makes it well suited to tight-tolerance finishing and light roughing passes in small-feature applications. It is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry, and runs uncoated for broad material compatibility. Machinists and toolroom operators working in CNC machining centers and manual mills select this tool for detail work where corner protection and dimensional accuracy are critical.
This end mill fits into miniature and small-part machining operations typical in mold and die work, medical device manufacturing, aerospace component machining, and general precision shop work. Its 3/16 inch straight-cylindrical shank seats into standard toolholders and collet chucks used across most CNC milling platforms. The 33/64 inch length of cut provides adequate flute engagement for common shallow-pocket and profile operations without excessive tool deflection.
Designed for use with standard collet chucks and toolholders accepting a 3/16 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Suitable for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, wood, and composite workpiece materials.
Installation and operation of this end mill should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with CNC or manual milling equipment. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before loading or changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the toolholder and torque the collet nut to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
