The HARVEY TOOL 846616-C3 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardened steels, and high-temperature alloys. The AlTiN coating provides oxidation resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. At 0.25 inches in diameter with a 4-flute configuration, this end mill delivers fine surface finishes and efficient chip evacuation in finishing and semi-finishing passes. It operates as a single-end tool with right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction, making it compatible with standard CNC machining centers and vertical mills.
This end mill suits CNC machining environments where tight tolerances and clean surface geometry are required. The reduced neck diameter of 0.158 inches and a neck length of 1.25 inches allow access to deep pockets and contoured surfaces without tool interference. Machinists and toolroom operators use this style of ball end mill for 3D profiling, die and mold work, and complex contour milling. The 270-degree wrap angle supports consistent cutting engagement across curved surfaces.
