The HARVEY TOOL 841662-C6 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in demanding machining environments. With a 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch) cutting diameter and a 3/32 inch (0.093 inch) length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in small-feature applications. The four-flute geometry with a variable helix angle improves chip evacuation and reduces chatter during cutting. An AlTiN coating increases surface hardness and thermal resistance, extending tool life in abrasive and high-temperature cutting conditions. This end mill is installed and used by machinists and tooling professionals in CNC machining operations.
This end mill is suited for small-diameter milling applications including slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling on CNC machining centers and manual mills. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collet and toolholder systems commonly found in production and prototype shops. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with conventional CNC spindle setups. The 1-1/2 inch overall length provides rigidity appropriate for shallow-depth operations typical at this diameter range. This tool is used in aerospace, medical device, and precision component manufacturing where small-feature accuracy is required.
Designed as a replacement-style solid carbide square end mill for use in standard CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter collet or toolholder.
This tool is installed by machinists or tooling technicians on CNC machining centers or manual milling machines. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Secure the shank fully within the collet or toolholder to the recommended engagement depth per the toolholder manufacturer. At 1/16 inch diameter, this end mill is fragile — avoid side loads beyond the rated length of cut and do not use for plunge cutting, as this tool is not center-cutting.
