The HARVEY TOOL 836325 is a square end mill designed for precision milling in tight tolerances and small-feature applications. Built from solid carbide, this tool delivers the rigidity and wear resistance needed for cutting ferrous and non-ferrous materials at high speeds. The 0.025-inch cutting diameter, 3-flute geometry, and 30-degree helix angle combine to support efficient chip evacuation and smooth finishes in micro-milling operations. With a bright, uncoated finish, this end mill is well suited for aluminum, brass, plastics, and other materials where coating adhesion is unnecessary or undesirable. Centercutting capability allows both plunge and peripheral cuts.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers and high-speed spindle setups where small-diameter tooling is required. Typical applications include mold and die work, medical device components, electronics enclosures, and precision prototype machining. The 1/8-inch shank diameter makes it compatible with standard collet systems found on vertical machining centers and CNC routers. The 1.5-inch overall length keeps the tool stiff enough for accurate cuts at this diameter range, reducing deflection and chatter in the cut zone.
Designed for use with standard 1/8-inch collet systems on CNC vertical machining centers, high-speed spindles, and CNC routers requiring small-diameter square end mills.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator with the spindle fully stopped and machine power locked out. Seat the shank fully into the collet and torque the collet nut to the specification listed by the collet manufacturer. At this diameter, tool runout must be minimized before cutting to prevent premature breakage. Always verify spindle speed and feed rate settings against the tool manufacturer's recommendations before beginning a cut.
