The HARVEY TOOL 835320-C6 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.02-inch cutting diameter and a 4-flute, variable helix geometry, this tool is built to deliver clean, accurate cuts at micro-scale dimensions. The AlTiN Nano coating provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life when cutting ferrous and hardened materials. At 1.5 inches overall length with a 0.125-inch straight cylindrical shank, it fits standard collet toolholders used on CNC machining centers and manual mills. This end mill is installed and used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in tight-tolerance environments.
This end mill is suited for finishing and light roughing passes in steel, stainless steel, titanium, and other hard alloys where micro-diameter tooling is required. The long-length designation makes it appropriate for applications that require extended reach into pockets or slots. The non-centercutting design means it is intended for side milling and slotting operations rather than direct plunge cutting. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC spindle configurations.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with standard ER or precision collet systems accepting a 0.125-inch straight shank. Intended for side milling and slotting operations in ferrous metals, hardened steels, and similar hard alloys where micro-diameter solid carbide tooling is required.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down or in a safe state before changing tooling. Secure the shank fully within the collet to the recommended gauge-line depth to minimize runout and prevent tool pullout during cutting. Consult machine and toolholder manufacturer guidelines for proper collet torque and setup procedures when working with micro-diameter end mills.
