The HARVEY TOOL 834193 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in a wide range of materials. With a 3/32 inch (0.093 inch) cutting diameter and 4 flutes, this single-end tool delivers clean, accurate cuts in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. A bright, uncoated finish makes it well suited for applications where coating interaction with the workpiece material is a concern. Machinists and toolroom operators rely on this geometry for fine-detail slotting, profiling, and contouring work.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and similar machine tool setups requiring a small-diameter, short-flute tool. The 1/2 inch length of cut and 1/8 inch shank diameter make it practical for light finishing passes, detail work in mold and die applications, and precision part fabrication. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional milling setups. The overall length of 2-1/2 inches keeps the tool compact and minimizes deflection at this diameter.
Designed as a standard small-diameter square end mill for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8 inch straight shank collet or end mill holder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's runout and torque specifications for the collet or holder system in use. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Confirm shank engagement depth meets the holder manufacturer's minimum requirement to prevent pullout under cutting loads. At this diameter, minimize overhang and use conservative depths of cut to reduce deflection and tool breakage risk.
