The HARVEY TOOL 833145-C3 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for precision chamfering, deburring, and edge-breaking operations on CNC machining centers and manual mills. Built with 4 flutes and a 90-degree included angle, this single-end tool delivers clean, consistent chamfers in a single pass. The AlTiN coating extends tool life in high-heat cutting conditions, making it well suited for ferrous metals, stainless steel, and hardened alloys. With a 1/4-inch cutter head diameter and 0.1050-inch length of cut, it handles light-duty chamfering work with tight tolerances.
This chamfer mill is intended for use in production shops, tool rooms, and job shops where consistent edge preparation is required. Its right-hand cutting direction and standard 1/4-inch shank make it compatible with common collet systems and end mill holders used on vertical machining centers and CNC routers. The compact overall length of 2.5 inches suits setups with limited Z-axis clearance or where tool holders sit close to the workpiece.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide chamfer mill for use with 1/4-inch collets, ER collet chucks, and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by machinists and CNC operators familiar with rotating cutting tool setup. Secure the 1/4-inch shank fully within the collet or tool holder to the recommended grip depth before tightening. Verify spindle runout with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts to protect both the tool and workpiece. Always bring the spindle to a complete stop and follow lockout/tagout procedures before changing or inspecting the tool.
