The HARVEY TOOL 810378-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The cutting diameter measures 5/64 inches (0.0780 inches decimal), with a length of cut of 0.55 inches and a 1/8 inch shank diameter. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in high-speed applications. This end mill is single-end, centercutting, and runs with right-hand cut and right-hand flute geometry. It is typically installed by machinists and CNC operators working in precision manufacturing environments.
This end mill is suited for finishing and contouring operations in tight-tolerance applications. Its small 5/64 inch diameter makes it appropriate for slotting, profiling, and detail work in mold making, die work, aerospace components, and precision machined parts. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. The 1/8 inch shank fits standard collet systems commonly found on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.

Installation is performed by machinists or CNC operators. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet and torque the collet nut according to the machine manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before use, as carbide tooling is brittle and should not be forced into a collet that does not fit the 1/8 inch shank diameter.
