The HARVEY TOOL 806062-C3 is a solid carbide corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent edge radii on machined workpieces. Built for precision profiling on ferrous and non-ferrous materials, this double-end tool delivers a 1/16 inch radius with a 3/16 inch mill diameter and 4-flute geometry. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life in high-speed and dry cutting applications. With an overall length of 2 inches and a 3/16 inch shank diameter, the 806062-C3 is compact and suited for close-tolerance work in CNC machining centers. It is installed and operated by machinists and tool and die professionals.
This end mill is used in milling operations that require radius edge breaks on part edges, pockets, and contours. The flared series geometry and double-end configuration make it efficient for both production runs and prototype work. Typical applications include edge profiling on steel, stainless, aluminum, and titanium components. The AlTiN coating makes it well suited for harder materials and elevated spindle speeds where uncoated carbide would wear prematurely. The 0.0460 inch tip diameter allows access to tight geometries where larger tools cannot reach.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard production tool within the Harvey Tool Corner Rounding End Mills 2 and 4 Flute Flared series. Suitable for use in CNC milling machines and machining centers accepting a 3/16 inch shank diameter collet or tool holder.
Install in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder that accepts a 3/16 inch shank. Verify spindle speed and feed parameters against manufacturer cutting data for the specific workpiece material before engaging the cut. Inspect both ends for chipping or wear before use and rotate to the second end only when the first shows measurable wear. Handle solid carbide tooling carefully to avoid edge chipping from contact with hard surfaces during storage or changeover.
