The HARVEY TOOL 805762-C3 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for precise milling in ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials. Built with four flutes and a 30-degree right-hand spiral helix, it delivers both roughing and finishing capability in a single tool. The 0.0620 inch mill diameter pairs with a 0.0310 inch nose radius for accurate ball-end profiling in tight geometries. An AlTiN PVD coating improves heat resistance and tool life when cutting steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. This tool is specified by machinists and CNC operators working in aerospace, die-and-mold, and precision part production where miniature long-reach tooling is required.
This end mill fits long-reach milling applications where standard-length tools cannot access deep cavities, slots, or contoured surfaces. The 0.3750 inch reach length and 0.1890 inch neck length allow clearance in confined areas without sacrificing rigidity relative to its size class. A 0.1250 inch straight-cylindrical shank seats in standard collet chucks and toolholders common to CNC machining centers. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. It is a single-end, right-hand cut tool with no chipbreaker and no coolant-through provision, suited for conventional flood or air-blast cooling setups.
Designed for use with steel, stainless steel, and cast iron workpieces. Fits standard 1/8 inch collet chucks and toolholders on CNC machining centers. Part of the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Ball - Long Reach, Standard Flute series.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician familiar with miniature tooling. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are clean and within runout specification before seating the shank, as runout errors are amplified at small diameters. Confirm feed rates and spindle speeds are appropriate for the 0.0620 inch diameter before beginning a cut to avoid tool breakage. Do not exceed the tool reach or apply lateral forces beyond the designed cutting envelope.
