This single-end, 6-flute tool features a 0.125-inch mill diameter, a 0.187-inch reach length, and a 2.5-inch overall length with a 0.25-inch straight cylindrical shank. The variable helix geometry — nominally 37 degrees — reduces harmonics and chatter during aggressive cuts. An AlTiN Nano PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in hard, abrasive workpiece materials. This stub-length profile is suited for high-rigidity roughing applications where deflection control is critical.

The 798208-C6 is designed for cutting hardened steels up to 55 Rc as its primary application, with secondary suitability for stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard CNC machining center spindle configurations.
