The HARVEY TOOL 796593-C6 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-temperature alloy machining applications. It features a 3/32 inch (0.0930 inch) mill diameter, a 0.0100 inch corner radius, and a variable helix design that reduces harmonics and chatter during aggressive cuts. The 3-flute geometry supports both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness retention at elevated cutting temperatures. Licensed machinists and CNC toolroom technicians select this end mill when working in materials that generate high heat and wear tooling quickly.
This end mill is designed for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard alloys, including high-temperature workpiece materials commonly found in aerospace, die and mold, and precision machining environments. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry. The 3/8 inch length of cut and 2-1/2 inch overall length suit it to standard depth profiling, slotting, and contouring operations where reach is limited and rigidity is critical. The straight cylindrical shank fits collet chucks and high-precision toolholders.

Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom technician with the machine in a full stop, locked-out state. Seat the straight cylindrical shank fully into a compatible collet or toolholder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Inspect the corner radius and cutting edges for chips or damage before mounting. Confirm runout with a dial indicator when tight tolerances are required, as the mill diameter tolerance is 0.0005 inch and corner radius tolerance is 0.0010 to -0.0010 inch.
