The HARVEY TOOL 76500-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. Built with 4 flutes and a 30-degree helix angle, it delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action across a wide range of materials. The 0.1-inch cutting diameter and 19/64-inch (0.3 inches) length of cut make this a compact tool suited for fine-detail work and tight-tolerance slots, pockets, and profiles. An AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extends tool life in high-speed dry or near-dry cutting applications. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in aerospace, mold-and-die, and precision manufacturing will find this tool well matched to close-tolerance work.
This end mill fits standard 1/8-inch shank tool holders and is configured as a single-end, right-hand cut, right-hand flute tool with extended reach. The 5/8-inch reach length and 1.5-inch overall length allow access to features that shorter tools cannot reach without repositioning or specialty fixturing. It is suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills running aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and other metals where a small-diameter, high-performance end mill is required. The extended-reach design reduces the need for angle-head attachments in certain deep-pocket applications.
Designed for use in 1/8-inch shank collets and tool holders on standard CNC machining centers and manual milling machines requiring a 0.1-inch diameter square end mill.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8-inch shank fully and evenly in the collet or tool holder, and torque the retention nut to the tool holder manufacturer's specification. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts, as runout in small-diameter carbide end mills accelerates wear and increases breakage risk.
