The HARVEY TOOL 76435-C3 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. With a 0.9 mm (0.0350 inch) cutting diameter and a 4-flute geometry, this tool delivers fine detail cutting and excellent chip evacuation in tight-tolerance applications. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth cutting action and reduces chatter. An AlTiN coating provides high heat resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and high-hardness materials. This end mill is single-end, right-hand cutting, and center-cutting, making it capable of both plunge and peripheral milling operations. It is installed and used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC machining centers and high-speed spindle setups.
This end mill is suited for micro-milling applications in materials such as hardened steels, stainless alloys, and titanium where a small-diameter, high-performance tool is required. The extended reach design, with a reach length of 0.315 inches (8 mm), allows access to deeper pockets and features without tool holder interference. Typical applications include mold and die work, aerospace component machining, and precision instrument manufacturing where fine feature geometry and tight tolerances are standard requirements.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles accepting a 0.125 inch (1/8 inch) shank diameter. Suitable for milling ferrous metals, hardened steels, and other high-hardness materials where AlTiN coating performance is advantageous.
This end mill is installed by qualified machinists into compatible collet chucks or end mill holders sized for a 0.125 inch shank. Ensure the tool holder and spindle are clean and free of debris before seating the shank to avoid runout. At this diameter, even minimal runout will significantly affect tool life and cut quality, so use precision collets rated for micro-tooling. Always verify spindle speed and feed rate parameters in the CAM program before initiating a cut.
