The HARVEY TOOL 75230-C4 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-precision milling in demanding materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. Built around a 0.1562-inch mill diameter with a 0.03-inch corner radius, it delivers controlled edge blending and reduced stress concentrations at workpiece corners. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. An amorphous diamond (PVD) coating enhances wear resistance and surface finish performance. Licensed machinists and CNC toolroom operators working in tight-tolerance, small-feature applications will find this miniature end mill well suited to their needs.
This end mill fits into the Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series, making it appropriate for small-diameter slot milling, profiling, and corner-radius blending in ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. With a 9/16-inch length of cut and a 2-inch overall length on a 3/16-inch straight cylindrical shank, it seats cleanly in standard collet-style toolholders. Typical applications include precision die and mold work, aerospace component finishing, and general CNC machining of tight-tolerance steel and stainless steel parts. It is a single-end, center-cutting tool with normal pitch and no chipbreaker.
Designed for use with standard collet-style toolholders accepting a 3/16-inch straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, composite, and wood workpieces. Part of the HARVEY TOOL Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series.
Installation is performed by a trained CNC machinist or toolroom operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool change mode is active before seating or removing the end mill. Insert the shank fully into the collet and torque the toolholder to the machine and toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut, as miniature-diameter carbide tools are sensitive to excessive runout and can fracture under lateral load.
