The HARVEY TOOL 75215-C3 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining applications. With a 0.1562-inch mill diameter, a 0.0150-inch corner radius, and an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating, this tool delivers extended wear resistance and thermal protection in high-speed cutting environments. The four-flute, single-end configuration with a helical flute geometry supports both roughing and finishing passes. At 2.0 inches overall length with a 9/16-inch length of cut, it fits standard toolholders used in CNC milling operations. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary installers and operators.
This end mill is suited for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials. The stub and standard miniature end mill series targets tight-tolerance work where a small-diameter tool must maintain edge integrity across varied material hardness. The 3/16-inch straight-cylindrical shank accepts standard collet toolholders. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC milling setups. Applications include contour milling, slot cutting, and profile finishing where edge-break radii are required at corners.
Designed for use with standard collet-style toolholders accepting a 3/16-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Part of the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills - Corner Radius - Stub and Standard series. Compatible with machining centers running steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metal, and composite workpiece materials.
Installation is performed by a machinist using a collet toolholder sized for a 3/16-inch shank diameter. Verify runout and tool projection before initiating a cut — excessive overhang beyond the stated length of cut reduces rigidity and accelerates tool wear at this diameter. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before inserting or removing the tool. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and toolholder manufacturer guidelines for clamping torque.
