The HARVEY TOOL 74365-C3 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. With a 0.065-inch mill diameter, 4-flute helical geometry, and a 30-degree helix angle, this single-end tool is built for both roughing and finishing passes at small scales. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extends tool life in ferrous materials. A 0.125-inch straight-cylindrical shank fits standard collets and tool holders used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. This tool is used by machinists and toolroom professionals working on fine-feature work where tight tolerances and minimal runout are critical.
The 74365-C3 is suited for milling operations on steel, stainless steel, and cast iron in both roughing and finishing applications. The stub-to-standard reach length of 0.195 inches keeps the cutting zone close to the shank, reducing deflection in small-diameter cuts. The 1.5-inch overall length makes it compatible with compact toolholding setups. This tool is appropriate for CNC machining centers, high-speed spindles, and precision manual mills where miniature end mill geometry is required for fine contours, slots, and profiling operations.
Designed for use in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron workpiece materials. Compatible with standard 0.125-inch collets and toolholders on CNC machining centers and precision mills. Part of the Harvey Tool Miniature End Mills series.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool is secured in a properly sized collet or toolholder before beginning setup. Verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting, as small-diameter end mills are sensitive to toolholder concentricity. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling manufacturer guidelines for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut for carbide miniature end mills.
