The HARVEY TOOL 73093-C4 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining applications. With a 3/32 inch (0.0930 inch) mill diameter, 0.279 inch length of cut, and a 4-flute spiral configuration at a 30-degree helix angle, this tool delivers efficient chip evacuation and a clean finish in tight geometries. The Amorphous Diamond PVD coating provides hardness and lubricity suited to abrasive and hard-to-machine materials. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard. Center-cutting geometry allows direct plunge entry. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and tool and die professionals on CNC mills and machining centers.
This miniature end mill is built for stub and standard reach applications where small-diameter precision cutting is required. It is suited for work in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous alloys, and carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) materials. Typical use cases include slot milling, profiling, and contouring in mold making, aerospace component work, and precision mechanical part production. The 1/8 inch shank diameter accommodates standard miniature collets and tool holders commonly used in high-speed CNC setups.

Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with CNC tooling setup and speeds-and-feeds calculations for small-diameter carbide end mills. Secure the shank fully in the collet to the recommended grip depth before operation — insufficient engagement increases the risk of tool pullout and breakage. Verify spindle runout before running miniature-diameter tooling, as even small deviations can cause premature failure at this diameter. Do not exceed the tool manufacturers recommended depth of cut or chip load for the specific workpiece material.
