The HARVEY TOOL 73092-C3 is a miniature solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining applications. With a 0.0920-inch cutting diameter and a 4-flute spiral geometry, it delivers clean, accurate profiles in tight tolerances. The 30-degree right-hand helix promotes efficient chip evacuation while reducing heat buildup at the cutting edge. An AlTiN coating extends tool life by adding hardness and oxidation resistance at elevated cutting temperatures. This end mill is a single-end tool with a 0.1250-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 1.5 inches, making it well-suited for high-speed small-diameter work on CNC machining centers.
This end mill is built for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, and CFRP materials. It fits residential and commercial job-shop environments alike, typically installed in collet-style toolholders on vertical machining centers or multi-axis CNC equipment. The stub-to-standard length-of-cut range of 0.2000 to 0.3000 inches suits shallow-pocket and profiling operations where rigidity is critical. Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before loading or changing tooling. Verify runout with a test indicator before beginning production cuts, as excessive runout accelerates wear on small-diameter carbide tools.
