The HARVEY TOOL 72602-C3 is a solid carbide double angle milling cutter designed for precision angle milling, chamfering, and V-groove operations on CNC machining centers and manual mills. It features a 90-degree included angle, a 3/16-inch cutting diameter, and a 3/32-inch cutting width. The cutter carries an AlTiN coating that improves heat resistance and extends tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. With 4 teeth and a 3/16-inch shank diameter, this tool is suited for machinists and toolmakers working in job shops, mold-making environments, and production machining.
This cutter is used in applications requiring precise double-angle profiles, symmetric chamfers, and dovetail-adjacent features at a 90-degree included angle. Its compact 3/16-inch cutting diameter makes it well suited for small-scale workpieces and tight-geometry slots. A 1/2-inch neck length provides clearance for shallow-to-moderate depth cuts. The 2-inch overall length keeps the tool rigid in standard collet chucks and end mill holders, reducing deflection during light finishing passes.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom professional. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and at rest before inserting or removing the cutter from the collet or tool holder. Secure the shank to the full recommended grip depth in the collet to minimize runout and deflection. Inspect the cutting edges and AlTiN coating for chips or wear before each use, as damaged carbide tooling should not be run.
