The HARVEY TOOL 72062-C3 is a miniature solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining applications. With a 1/16-inch (0.0625-inch) cutting diameter and a 0.186-inch length of cut, it is engineered for fine-detail work in tight geometries. The AlTiN coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in abrasive materials. At 1-1/2 inches overall length with a 1/8-inch shank diameter, this end mill fits standard collet systems and is suited for use on CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the typical end users.

This end mill is built for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, and CFRP materials. The stub-and-standard length profile from the Miniature End Mills series makes it a practical choice for slotting, profiling, and contouring in small-feature work where tool deflection must be minimized. It is a single-end, centercutting tool, so it can plunge directly into the workpiece. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC setups.

Installation Notes

Verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting, as excessive runout on small-diameter end mills accelerates wear and increases breakage risk.
