The HARVEY TOOL 68025-C3 is a double-end corner rounding end mill designed for edge-breaking and radius profiling on metal workpieces. It features a 0.02 mm (0.0250 inch) corner radius and a 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) mill diameter with four flutes for efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality. Constructed from solid carbide, the tool offers rigidity and wear resistance in demanding cutting applications. An AlTiN coating improves heat resistance and tool life when machining hardened steels, stainless steel, and high-temperature alloys. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends, extending service life between tool changes.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and manual milling operations where consistent edge radii are required on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is commonly used in aerospace, die and mold, and general precision machining environments. The 3/16 inch shank diameter fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders of the same bore size. With a 2 inch overall length, it fits compact tooling setups and close-clearance fixtures. Machinists and toolroom operators working with tight-tolerance edge geometry will find the 0.0250 inch radius and 0.1070 inch tip diameter well suited to fine detail work.
Designed for use in standard 3/16 inch collet chucks, end mill holders, and tooling systems that accept a 3/16 inch shank diameter. Part of the Harvey Tool Corner Rounding End Mills - 2 and 4 Flute - Flared series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's tooling guidelines. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, powered-down state before installing or removing the end mill. Seat the shank fully in the collet or holder to the recommended engagement depth before tightening. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
