The HARVEY TOOL 67630-C3 is a double-end corner rounding end mill designed for precision edge-breaking and radius profiling on machined parts. Built from solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), it delivers excellent hardness and heat resistance for high-speed cutting in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The tool cuts a 0.03 mm corner radius with a 4-flute geometry, generating a clean, consistent radius in a single pass. It is sized at 1/8 inch in diameter with a matching 1/8 inch shank, making it compatible with standard collet toolholding systems. Machinists and CNC operators working in production or job shop environments will find this tool suited for finishing operations on tight-tolerance components.
This corner rounding end mill is used in CNC milling applications where a controlled edge radius is required to reduce stress concentrations, improve part aesthetics, or meet drawing callouts for corner breaks. The double-end design effectively extends tool life by providing two usable cutting ends before the tool is retired. The flared series geometry is optimized for radial corner rounding passes on a variety of workpiece materials, including alloy steels, stainless steels, and hardened materials where AlTiN coating performance is most effective. Typical applications include aerospace, medical, and precision machined components requiring repeatable micro-radius profiles.
Designed for use with standard 1/8 inch collet toolholding systems on CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines capable of precision finishing operations.
Installation and tool changes should be performed with the machine fully powered down and the spindle locked. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully into a clean, undamaged collet and torque the collet nut to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use — solid carbide end mills are brittle and should not be used if chipping is present. Follow the tool manufacturer feed and speed recommendations for the specific workpiece material and coating type to avoid premature tool failure.
