The HARVEY TOOL 64478-C6 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding materials. With a 0.0780-inch mill diameter, a 0.0100-inch corner radius, and three flutes with a variable helix geometry, this tool is built to reduce chatter and improve surface finish in difficult-to-machine alloys. The AlTiN (PVD) coating provides elevated heat resistance, making it well-suited for dry or semi-dry cutting. The extended-reach, stub-flute configuration delivers rigidity in tight spaces while maintaining access to deep features. It is a centercutting, single-end tool with right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction. Installation and tool changes must be performed by qualified machinists with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a safe, locked-out state. Seat the shank fully into a high-precision toolholder and verify runout before cutting. Consult the machine tool manufacturer and toolholder specifications for proper clamping torque and retention.
