With a 3/8-inch cutting diameter and 7 flutes, this end mill delivers superior surface finishes and chip evacuation compared to standard 4- or 5-flute designs. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating provides excellent heat resistance and hardness, extending tool life in ferrous and hard materials. A variable helix angle of 41 degrees reduces chatter and harmonics during the cut. This tool is intended for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals operating CNC milling centers and manual mills in production and job-shop environments.

Installation Notes

Because this end mill is non-centercutting, program ramping or helical entry moves rather than direct axial plunge to avoid tool damage.
